My husband "inserted" the cord through the trough on the blower which was more direct to the plug - shortest distance = straight line. This worked (so far). Easy buttons; the only thing i would prefer is the one button minute, 2 minute, etc. Feature. This microwave has an "add more" which adds 10 seconds. Overall, though, really good. I gave it 5 stars primarily for the aesthetics. **note, one person mentioned the lighter stainless color is a good match for lg oven -- i don't have an lg oven (have a kitchenaid oven which is horrible) so not a perfect match.
