Bought this unit to replace a sixteen 12 months-old sharp r-1470, which i beloved. This r1875t unit is even nicer than my old unit, with even a lot more attributes (convection being the huge one). This is my third sharp microwave and i just adore it. 1 caveat - i did have to remove the outdated mounting plate for the outdated microwave and set up the new just one. This new microwave is about 1' taller than the previous. The unit is a replacement for the old r eighteen series but some points are not up to the excellent level of the outdated unit.
